Steamed Kurau Fish

Ingredients
  • 2 Kurau fish steaks

  • 3 slices ginger

  • 2 salted plum (咸梅)

  • 4 tomato wedges

  • 4 slices tofu (optional)

  • 2 tsp soy sauce

  • A few coriander sprigs


Instructions
  1. Place the Kurau steak onto a steaming plate.
  2. Top with ginger, tomato, salted plum and tofu slices.
  3. Steam over high heat for 12–15 minutes until the fish is cooked and flakes easily.
  4. Drizzle soy sauce, garnish with coriander and serve hot.
